¹⁴ Wise men ^(A)store up knowledge,
But ^(B)the mouth of the ignorant fool draws ruin near.
¹⁵ The ^(C)rich man’s wealth is his strong city,
The ^(D)ruin of the poor is their poverty.
¹⁶ The ^[a](E)wages of the righteous is life,
The income of the wicked, punishment.
